Sonnet 46

When you and me split it was all out war ,

We literally couldn't stand each other's sight,

I got revenge sex down the singles bar,

It's cheap it's nasty I'm not sure it's right.

I'm estranged, I said , I don't need to lie!

Then I saw you reflected in their eyes:

A tattooed visage is hard to deny -

And does more damage than transparent lies.

Get all my one night stands empannell'ed,

Choose how to camouflage what's  on my heart,

"And by their verdict is determin'ed"

How the remnant of you on me will part.

This obliteration tho' whole, not part,

Won't remove your face from  my skin, or heart.
